Description
Vitamin D is a fat-soluble nutrient. It is known as the ??sunshine?¡¥ vitamin as our bodies can convert sunlight into Vitamin D through a process that starts in our skin. Unfortunately, many people do not get enough sunlight exposure due to many factors or they have problems with the conversion process in the body which is where supplementation with a quality Vitamin D product can be very beneficial.
Nordic Naturals Baby?¡¥s Vitamin D3 is in the natural form of vitamin D (cholecalciferol) for optimal absorption. It has no colouring or flavourings and comes in a carrier oil of organic extra virgin olive oil. Administration is simple due to the easy-to-use dropper lid and provides 400 IU in one convenient drop.
Vitamin D is essential throughout all stages of life and is an important nutrient for infant health especially bones, immune system development and it may also support normal sleep rhythms.
The American Academy of Paediatrics recommends that breastfed or partially breastfed infants receive 400IU of supplemental vitamin D daily.
SUGGESTED USE
For infants and children, one drop daily.
DIRECTIONS
Never administer this product by putting dropper bottle into infant?¡¥s mouth. For correct dosage, place one drop onto pacifier or mother?¡¥s breast before nursing. Alternatively, product may be mixed into food or liquids. It can also be taken from a spoon.
Store bottle upright in a cool, dry places.
